Young Living’s proprietary Raindrop Technique® uses Vita Flex techniques and authentic essential oils on the feet and along the spine to relax, rejuvenate and balance the body, and support the immune system. D. Gary Young developed this technique in the 1980’s using his experience with the Lakota traditions and his knowledge of essential oil research.
Vita Flex, an ancient Tibetan healing methodology is one of the techniques used to apply the Young Living Essential Oils. It means “vitality through the reflexes”. By using a rolling motion of the finger pads, tips and nails, the pressure creates vibrational energy that carries the oils along the nerve pathways. The essential oils increase this energy and help remove blockages along the way while traveling to different parts of the body.
Thyme, Basil, Wintergreen, Marjoram, Cypress, Peppermint and Oregano Essential Oils are used to promote energy and vitality.
V-6 and Ortho Ease are 2 massage oils that can bring about balance and electrical alignment.
Although the entire process lasts approximately 1 hour, the therapeutic essential oils will continue to work in the body for 5 to 7 days following the anointing, with continued benefits taking place during this time.
This technique follows the French application of aromatherapy, where high quality therapeutic essential oils are applied NEAT (undiluted) to the body.
Your experience to the Raindrop Technique® is determined by your own body. Each person reacts differently. Recipients have noticed things like, increased energy, relaxation, emotional well being and release, increased flexibility, etc. along with some possible short term sides effects like body soreness, sinus drainage, coughing, or rash. Benefits may not be apparent right away, but can take place over 7 days after a session.
Raindrop Technique® is not a cure-all. It is a tool to help restore a balance in the body that may result in good health and promote individual healing.
